New Kids On The Block have signed on for their first-ever Las Vegas residency, representatives for the iconic boy band formed in 1984 and featuring brothers Jon and Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg and Danny Wood confirmed on September 20. Titled “The Right Stuff” after their 1988 hit “You Got It (The Right Stuff),” the concerts will take place at Dolby Live at Park MGM from June 20 to July 5, 2025. A second round of shows will run from November 1 to 15, 2025.
For their first time in the City That Never Sleeps, the band promises to be heavy. “The Right Stuff will be an electrifying, one-of-a-kind show that you can only see in Las Vegas! We are very excited to create this show and production that is so unique that there is only one place to see it, and that is Las Vegas. This is something we have always wanted to do and we have all sorts of surprises in mind for our “Blockheads”!” reads a press release.
Donnie Wahlberg, Mark Wahlberg’s older brother and a “Blue Bloods” actor, promised something unprecedented. “We cherish every opportunity we have to perform for our fans, but a Las Vegas residency gives us the opportunity to elevate our performance and fan interaction to a new level,” he said.
New Kids On The Block were founded in Boston in 1984. They disbanded in 1994, then reformed in early 2008. Their eighth studio album, “Still Kids,” was released last May.
