She had everything to win this thirteenth season of Dance with the stars. From the first bonus, Inès Reg dazzled the jury and the public with increasingly accomplished, professional and convincing performances. In all possible scenarios, the comedian was one of the finalists of this edition.
And, unsurprisingly, it did. This Friday evening, Kévin’s ex-wife found herself facing Nico Capone and Natasha St-Pier for the home stretch. This bonus did not denote previous ones: Inès Reg, once again, occupied the top of the ranking, winning three “10s” after her first performance, a samba on I’m a single Lady by Beyoncé.
But to reach the super final, during which the last two finalists compete, the comedy also had to count on the votes of the public. And obviously, these did not succeed in weighing on the scales. In the middle of the show, Camille Combal announces the results of the votes. Against all expectations, Natasha St-Pier and Nico Capone qualified. Inès Reg is eliminated and therefore finishes third in the season.
After thanking everyone, the comedian, who viewers will find next Friday in Mask Singer on the same channel, takes the microphone and sends a message to the public: “They made me what a TF1 product is. I am not a TF1 product. Guys, I didn’t cheat. I’m losing my head up”she declared before returning to the arms of her partner Christophe Licata who told her off microphone “You won.”
