“It’s a form of gift he gives to the festival”

It’s a form of gift that he gives to the festival by coming, smiles Xavier Le Falher, the festival programmer. He wasn’t the one we invited first but Katia de Vidas, the director to present his film and he decided to accompany her.

Documentary on the artist, his addictions but also his detoxification, this is what particularly interested Xavier Le Falher: “It’s real courage, there are rarely films that evoke this. Most end badly, Amy Winehouse’s biopic will tell the story of the rise and the end. What I like about this film is that there is no end, life goes on and Pete Doherty’s career rebounds. His group The Libertines, which had to stop because of its addiction problems, has reformed, and they are number one in England.”

“Stranger in my own skin” will be screened in Pau at Méliès this Saturday April 27 at 8:30 p.m. It is complete, there is no room left. There’s more left for the rest of the festival. For tickets and programming, go to the site of the Rock this town festival!
