Montauban. Autumn Letters: “Festival-goers write to festival-goers”

The 34th edition of the Lettres d’Automne festival is being actively prepared.

From November 18 to December 1, it will unfold around Jakuta Alikavazovic and Sylvain Prudhomme, both authors of novels, stories, short stories, translations and chronicles. Surrounded by many novelists, essayists, artists, they will invite festival-goers to share a literature that passionately seeks to decipher the world. The program is open to all audiences, including the youngest: meetings, readings, shows, concerts, cinema, festival bookstore, etc.

This year, the Confluences team wanted to give festival-goers a voice. They therefore came up with a workshop that invites everyone to highlight their personal reading experience and share it in a creative way.

Thus, “Festival-goers write to festival-goers” will take the form of epistolary criticism workshops, led by Élodie Karaki, literary critic and festival advisor for two years.

They will take place on Saturdays, October 5 and October 19, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., at La petite comédie. She will invite you to discover the art of literary criticism and the pleasure of correspondence. How can you convey the intimacy of a reading, share your enthusiasm, your questions, your thoughts on a style, a story, a literary voice?

As a preamble to the festival, Élodie Karaki invites you to delve into some of the works of the authors invited to this edition of Lettres d’automne.

These workshops are open to all, from 16 years old, presence is required on both Saturdays. Prices: €50 / Unemployed, RSA €35 / Young people (under 26) €10
