Pedestrian streets, Place de-Gaulle, but also at the Les Éléis shopping center, and today by giving pride of place to the Bouchées cherbourgeoises at the Plage verte, the great Fête des Normands makes all our people sing and dance around the traditionsof the local productsof thecraftsmanshipof the know-how and of heritage which highlight our territory.

An atmosphere rich in entertainment

In the afternoon of this Saturday September 21, 2024hundreds of people wandered through the city centre to immerse themselves with happiness and under the sun which still resisted the rise of stormy cumulonimbus clouds, in a sound and lively atmosphere, rich in animations.

300 people

At around 4 p.m., a little over three hundred people, young and old, gathered at Place de Gaulle, in the heart of the Norman village.

Strolls, orchestras, rides and games here; and tastings, drinks, demonstrations and Viking fights there. Some came in Norman outfits and make-up, please!

This Sunday again and orchestrated by the Union of Traders, the event will play the last score of the summer.

There is a general interest in the recreation of our Viking camp, its living history, and our fights with swords, axes, and spears.
