The world knows Beyoncé as an artist, but few know who the singer really is. Keen to protect her privacy, the latter rarely spills out about the more intimate aspects of her daily life. In an interview with Just Jared, she broke with her usual habits by lending herself to the game of confidences. One of the things I’ve worked really hard on is making sure my kids can have as much normalcy and privacy as possible, while making sure my personal life doesn’t become a business.”, explains Beyoncé.

As an international star, the singer’s daily life is irremediably disrupted by fame, which she sometimes finds difficult to bear.Fame can sometimes look like a prison”, Beyoncé confides before specifying: “So when you don’t see me on the red carpets, and when I disappear until I have a news story to share, that’s why”.

Beyoncé: “I didn’t want Blue to come on stage”

In the rest of the interview, Beyoncé talks about her three children, whom she takes “wherever she goes“. On her elder, Blue, the singer affirms that she is an artist. “She has it in her blood, but I didn’t want Blue to get on stage. Blue wanted it.”, the star specifies.

Beyoncé is enthusiastic about her role as a mother.Raising three children is not easy. The older they get, the more they become individuals in their own right, with their own needs, hobbies and social lives.”, explains the singer before adding: “Being a parent is a constant learning experience. It takes a lot of prayer and patience. I love it. It’s inspiring and fulfilling.”
