he’s back – New this year: the remote participation of 100 streamers to try, once again, to beat the donation record
After a year’s hiatus, ZEvent, a charity video game marathon on Twitch that brings together around thirty French streamers in Montpellier and around a hundred online, is making its return this Thursday evening with a big concert launching its eighth edition.
On the bill, Caravan Palace, Deluxe and Mosimann, as well as the streamer Littlebigwhale accompanied by PV Nova. The show at the Zénith in Montpellier will mark the kickoff of this streaming weekend.
For more than fifty hours from Friday to Sunday, participants will raise funds for five associations fighting against poverty: Secours populaire, Bureaux du cœur, Solidarité Paysans, Cop1 and Chapitre 2, all in conjunction with the Fondation de France.
The ZEvent brings together on average between 500,000 and one million spectators. It broke its own record in 2022 by raising more than 10 million euros for environmental associations.
Quizzes, challenges and happenings
This year, 36 streamers will gather in Montpellier starting Friday evening to compete in friendly video games, challenges and quizzes of all kinds. Among them, Antoine Daniel, Baghera Jones, Ultia, the host of the talk show “Popcorn” Domingo, and the television host Samuel Etienne.
