DRAMA – An American influencer particularly followed on TikTok died of a heart attack at the end of a half-marathon organized in a Californian Disneyland
Caleb Graves, a 33-year-old man, died after participating in the Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon in Anaheim, California (United States), this Sunday. A lawyer by profession, the athlete was also an influencer and a big fan of Disney parks.
An experienced runner, he was particularly followed on TikTok. On race day, he crossed the finish line holding his chest, reports the Los Angeles TimesHe was quickly taken care of by the medical team on site and was taken to hospital, but his death was declared an hour later.
A first malaise the day before
The thirty-year-old did not suffer from any particular medical problems. An investigation has been opened to try to understand what could have caused his cardiac arrest. The heat is particularly pointed out: on the day of the race, due to the heatwave affecting the western United States, it was more than 41 °C in Anaheim, notes Entertainment Weekly.
