Dancing with Alzheimer is the name of the exhibition currently presented at La Chrysalide, an event truly off the beaten track in more than one way. Around twenty photographs, which are worth more than words, make up the photographic exhibition that the public is invited to discover until the end of the month.
Privileged moments
Conceived and produced by the dancer Zoé Budin-Gambino and Clara Mariani, photography expert, have created a unique artistic variation. Their work is the fruit of work carried out over several weeks by these two artists in the workshop of the Cognitive-Behavioral Unit of the Simone-Veil hospital center in Blois, in the department of the head doctor, Bernard Mercier. The two artists were, in the circumstances, able to capture absolutely privileged moments from patients suffering from Alzheimer’s disease; that was the goal and certainly, everyone appreciated the process.
In the presence of François Fromet, mayor of Vineuil, Marie-Agnès Féret, vice-president of the CIAS du Blaisois and Christine Péritore, president of France Alzheimer 41, the opening brought together a large gathering, among which we noted the presence of medical staff from the Blois hospital who contributed to this remarkable initiative.
The exhibition can be visited freely every day during the opening hours of La Chrysalide, 13, rue des Écoles in Vineuil, until January 26, 2025.
