RoseUp Association was present at the 17th edition of the French Cancerology Meetings. Isabelle Huet, director of RoseUp Association, spoke during a round table on the theme “New levers and new directions in the daily care of patients.”
She highlighted the key success factors of reinforced coordinated pathways and digital remote monitoring solutions with regard to the needs of sick people.
- Firstly, concerning the coordination of routes in town and at home, the urgent need to provide patients with a single referring professional, the pivot of care in order to prevent the patient or caregivers from being forced to play their part. themselves this coordination role, which is often the case today unfortunately.
- Regarding digital remote monitoring solutions, she wondered to what extent these apps will be able to meet patients’ need to benefit from human support. The outlook is rather bleak in this regard, with these solutions being put in place to address staffing shortages.
