The party will return to Gallargues, from November 7 to 11, on the occasion of Saint Martin. This edition is organized by the Lou Cleda bullfighting club, with the support of the municipality, the Café de la Renaissance, the Coudoulié brasserie, the Gallarguoise Youth (class of 2006) and traders.
Saint Martin’s Day highlights the region’s bullfighting traditions. The festivities will begin on the first day, Thursday, November 7, with a bandido at 5:30 p.m. This opening day will end with an evening at the Café de la Renaissance, starting at 6:15 p.m., with free brasucade. From the next day, and until November 11, the daily bullfighting program will be dense. The days will begin in good humor and conviviality, with lunches at Les Emprunts, every day at 9 a.m. (€5). At 11:30 a.m., head to the village streets for the abrivados, followed, from 2:45 p.m., by the Camargue races (free entry) and the bandidos.
Throughout Saint Martin’s Day, fans of partying and conviviality will not be left out. Friday, November 8, an 80s ball, offered by the municipality, will be organized at the Maison du peuple, from 7 p.m. Every day, the Café de la Renaissance will offer an aperitif, at 12:30 p.m., and an evening, at 6:30 p.m. The Coudoulié brasserie will offer its evenings from November 8 to 10, at 6:30 p.m. And on the Place du Coudoulié , the funfair will welcome young and old.
