hospital opens a dedicated department

It opened at the beginning of September 2024. And allows the hospital center () to join the list of the rare non-university hospital centers in with a department entirely dedicated to clinical immunology.

This specialty consists of diagnosing and treating autoimmune diseases, consequences of a dysfunction of the immune system, when white blood cells and antibodies (which usually protect us) turn against the body and attack the organs (kidneys, skin, joints, lungs, eye).

Rare chronic inflammatory diseases

Mediated by the TV series Dr House this specialty offers comprehensive care for patients who suffer from rare chronic inflammatory diseases affecting one or more organs: lupus, Sjögrene syndrome, systemic sclerosis, sickle cell disease, etc.
