The month of October is a month of mobilization dedicated to the prevention of breast cancer. In France, there are more than 61,000 new cases and 12,000 deaths each year. This month is also an opportunity to remember that when detected early, breast cancer is cured in 9 out of 10 cases. It is therefore important to be screened regularly!
In order to raise awareness among as many people as possible in Val-de-Marne about breast cancer screening, the CPAM of Val-de-Marne is strengthening its prevention actions in partnership with local authorities and other associative partners in the department.
