Meanwhile, at the hospital, there are still many sick people: 14,000 visits to the emergency room for flu in one week, 700 patients in intensive carethe majority were over 65 years old and 75% were not vaccinated. Public Health France emphasizes that, again this week, the number of deaths is high, but without providing figures.

The epidemic curve continues to rise, the peak has not been reached, there will therefore be many contaminations, at least until March. People over 65, people with heart disease, pregnant people or people with respiratory illnesses are strongly encouraged to be vaccinated, if they have not already done so.
