Dr. Zohra Fitouri, head of the outpatient department at Bab Saadoun Children’s Hospital, confirmed the increase in cases of respiratory diseases among children staying at Bab Saadoun Children’s Hospital since last December.

She told the first national channel yesterday, Saturday, that the cold season is characterized by the presence of numerous respiratory viruses, emphasizing the need to refer sick infants or children to a specialist doctor and to avoid using antibiotics of his own accord.
