Faced with epidemics, the Guingamp hospital triggers the “white plan”

“The emergency department is facing high activity due to winter epidemics. For several days, hospital beds have been insufficient in number to accommodate all patients,” indicates the management of the establishment, in a press release. The decision was taken today, “following consultation in a multidisciplinary crisis unit”.

This decision aims to adapt internal organizations to allow the hospitalization of all patients requiring it. Management recalls that “the main measures will consist of the mobilization of nursing reinforcements, the increase in hospitalization capacities, the possible deprogramming of certain non-urgent interventions”.
