Yannick Neuder notably invited the French to wear a mask on public transport or during work meetings.
«We are in an epidemic situation which is importante,” immediately warned the Minister of Health. In the midst of a flu epidemic, Yannick Neuder went to Cochin hospital in Paris on Friday January 10. Surrounded by caregivers, he reminded us of the usefulness of barrier gestures. “During Covid-19, we had much less gastroenteritis and flu“, he first declared.
-As a reminder, the minister invited the French to “wash your hands, sneeze and cough into the crook of your elbow“. Before going any further: “I’m not telling you that we’re relaunching wearing a mask in France for everyone, but in confined places“. He then gave several examples, such as public transport or work meetings.

“All the things that can improve the reception conditions for patients and relieve the burden on nursing staff: barrier gestures, and perhaps compulsory vaccination, should be considered,” he added. He concludes: “There should be no taboo on the subject».
