The focus on screen time

The question of the use of screens among very young children is at the heart of the new pages of the notebook. From the child’s three months, the doctor can ask if he or she is regularly exposed to screens and remind people that cell phones and tablets are prohibited before three years of age.

New compulsory exam at 6 years old

In addition to traditional vaccination appointments, this health record introduces a new visit to the doctor at the age of 6. Objective: to check that the child does not have learning disorders or anxiety disorders, to control their weight to alleviate the obesity epidemic.

The new notebook also includes questions on the practice of physical activity until adolescence, a crucial age for detecting endometriosis in young girls. Questions specific to this pathology are also planned.
