Last Thursday, at the initiative of the municipal social action committee (CCAS) of Aubin, the signing between the municipality and “France Alzheimer Aveyron” of the “Aubin Alzheimer Helping City” charter was recorded.
This in the presence of Mayor Christine Teulier and several elected officials from Aubin, the CCAS board of directors, departmental councilor Graziella Pierini, deputy Laurent Alexandre and volunteers from France Alzheimer Aveyron.
Through this adherence to the charter, the city of Aubin signifies its desire to promote the inclusion of people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease or a related disease, but also to provide a link with France Alzheimer through various actions, help and support to those around people affected by these illnesses.
“France Alzheimer Aveyron is an association of volunteers which brings together around 261 members in the department. It has four permanent offices in Rodez, Millau, Villefranche-de-Rouergue and Bozouls”, explains the departmental president Jean Paul Delon, president of Alzheimer 12.
The signing of this charter formalizes the city’s commitment, which should ultimately lead to the creation of a fifth branch located in the Basin.
