The figures speak for themselves since since its opening, the ICAB has seen more than 73,000 patients pass through. In two years, in fact, 73,225 consultations have already been carried out and there have also been 35,200 visits to oncology day hospitals, with a 12% increase in admissions in 2023. “The majority of patients are now accommodated in single rooms, significantly improving their comfort”.
Still in figures we talk about more than 40,000 chemotherapy preparations per year, 2,000 radiotherapy treatments each year, 16,000 nuclear medicine examinations, including PET-Scan and scintigraphies, 9,200 scanners and 5,600 MRIs in the oncological imaging department. In addition, in 2024, 500 patients were welcomed at the Oasis Center and more than 3,000 appointments for individual and group activities were organized there.
