The Château-Gontier Lions Club, the Haut-Anjou Hospital Center, the Motte Vauvert Health Center and LIDER Diabetes are organizing diabetes awareness, Friday, November 29, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., in the shopping mall du Leclerc.

The opportunity to meet health professionals to learn more about diabetes. On the program: prevention stands, interview with a nurse, blood sugar test and medical presence.

Detect disease early

Founded in 2011, the Lider diabetes association, “Lions international diabetes screening and research”, has set itself the mission of raising awareness of the risks of diabetes and fighting against this disease by screening for it throughout . Since 2015, a National Diabetes Screening Day has been organized by the Lions Clubs of France.
