Two cases of tuberculosis were detected in a nursery school in , in Gironde, according to the Regional Health Agency, reports France Bleu Gironde on Wednesday November 20. A screening of students, teachers and professionals of the establishment will be organized.

The two positive children come from the same siblings. They were isolated, taken care of and no longer present a risk for the Jean Jaurès nursery school in Libourne, according to ARS Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Very young children are those most at risk for this infectious bacterial disease, very often pulmonary, and contagious.
