The Sud Cher Territorial Professional Health Community (CPTS) is offering a smear day, Monday November 25, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the Châtelet medical center, 1 avenue de la Gare.
A midwife will be mobilized for women between 25 and 65 years old, with or without an appointment, and without advance payment, for cervical cancer screening. Patients can make an appointment at 07.81.90.67.38.
“This is a consultation for a sampling procedure. This will never replace a gynecology consultation during which the examination is more thorough,” specifies the CPTS, indicating that follow-up will be put in place for women whose the result would be positive for papillomavirus.
