After the effort, comfort! A cheese and wine party awaited the candidates for the Vacci party, organized by the Territorial Professional Health Community of the country of Auray (CPTS) on Friday November 8, 2024, in the hall of the senior services residence Les Voiles Pourpres, by Domitys.

What is a Vacci party?

The concept came from the former director of Domitys, Ollivier Briand, organizer of the first Vacci party in Auray (Morbihan). The idea was to bring together the partners and stakeholders of the residence in a friendly and festive atmosphere, in order to be vaccinated together. It was quick, no appointments to make and an opportunity to make connections,” remembers Laetitia Mandart, the current director. Since the CPTS offices were established in the residence, it was she who naturally took over.

In winter, vaccination here is better: we give you a snack,” slips between two bites Julien Samour, hearing aid specialist. He was part of the health personnel (around twenty) and partners who were vaccinated against the flu, in order to set an example for the population. Vaccinate yourself to protect others,” supports Stéphane Lefort, communications and network manager at the CPTS.

Call for solidarity via donations

Every year the formula improves. This time, the Vacci party took the form of a mini-trade fair with exhibitors linked to the medical and paramedical sector… Video forums with health professionals were also scheduled, explaining the importance of vaccination among people at risk. , like diabetics, whose World Day is November 14 .

And again, the moving testimony of Annabelle, nurse, whose daughter had benefited from a bone marrow donation and she from RTT from her colleagues in order to be able to stay with her daughter. She was the one who opened the second part of the evening, dedicated to the call for donations of blood, marrow… The idea of the evening is exemplary, recalls Valérie Bertrand, secretary of the CPTS. If professionals do it, it’s easier to explain.
