Corsican Tomme de brebis is currently the subject of a recall throughout France. This cheese would contain a toxic bacteria responsible for listeriosis.
Marketed from June 5 to 10, batches of Corsican sheep’s tomme have been removed from the shelves of their point of sale. To avoid serious food poisoning, it is recommended not to consume these dairy products. Doctissimo takes stock of the incriminated batches.

Listeriosis, a disease that can be serious
If this lot has been recalled, it is because it may cause the listeriosisa serious infection caused by the bacteria Listeria monocytogenes.

Fragile individuals (pregnant women, immunocompromised people and the elderly) must therefore be particularly attentive to these symptoms.
