Caissarg’ton coeur presents its musical evening for the benefit of the ICM

Saturday November 16, at 8 p.m., the charity association Caissarg’ton coeur will organize a major musical evening in the Aldébaran room of the Saint-Exupéry center for the benefit of the Brain Institute (ICM), the research center for neurological diseases (Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Charcot’s disease and many others) located within the Pitié Salpêtrière hospital. “All the groups of musicians come voluntarily and the catering is provided free of charge by the Beauregard farm as well as by the Vincent Croizard restaurant. Many partners also provide us with financial support. It’s an evening dedicated to friendship, sharing and .” specify the organizers.

My family is affected by these neurological diseases. My wife has had Parkinson’s disease for 15 years and our fight for 10 years has been to provide all our support to the eight hundred researchers at the ICM who make progress every year to find therapies and drugs.” confides Serge Escande, the secretary of Caissarg’ton coeur.

Last year a check for €6,000 was given to the ICM

In 2023, this association took over the organization of the ICM evening, organized for around ten years by Music Passion Parkinson which paid €80,000 during this period to the brain institute.

Last year, we presented a check for €6,000 to the ICM. This year we hope to give even more. For this we need all the support to make our evening known”, add the members of the Caissarg’ton coeur association who organize charity evenings each year for the benefit of research centers for all diseases (six in 2024).

All profits from the evenings are donated to these organizations.

Saturday, to open, Marie-Thérèse Escande and her friends (Bernard and Laurence Castan, with Michel Diniakos), accompanied by Olivier Begon on the piano, will offer a medley of very well-known songs to cover with them (the texts will be available in the room) . They will be followed, after the intermission, by the vocal group the meltin’. The sound system will be provided by Guilhem. Doors open at 7 p.m., for an evening start at 8 p.m.

Entrance: €12. Lottery: €2 per ticket. Refreshment bar and tapas throughout the evening. Contact: [email protected]
