Administrative procedures are simplified for future mothers

Good news for future mothers! Since September 1, administrative procedures have been simplified for them, particularly in terms of their declaration of pregnancy. An agreement was signed between the Family Allowance Fund (CAF) and the National Health Insurance Fund for Salaried Workers (CNAMTS), so that the pregnancy can be directly declared by the doctor or midwifeduring the first prenatal exam.

An online service is accessible from the practitioner’s “professional space” on the Health Insurance website, and all he has to do is bring his patient’s vital card to declare the pregnancy. Then, the organization will take care of notifying the CAF, which will itself invite the future mother to complete your file on the site.

The pregnant woman must follow two different procedures, depending on whether she has already had a child or not. If she has already had a baby, all she has to do is confirm pregnancy status. Those expecting their first baby must complete the request for birth bonus. Thanks to this new service, future parents no longer have to send a paper document to either the CAF or the CPAM (Primary Health Insurance Fund). Goodbye, paperwork!
