If you’re a fan of skincare, you may have already heard of the French brand Mimétique. Indeed, for several months, it has had the effect of a UFO in the cosmetics landscape. In question, its innovative formulation which imitates that of the skin. “She knows better than anyone what she needs and how to use it. That’s all it took to make us want to try this new product. We opted for two products that we use daily: the “Skin Restore” face cream and the “CTRL Eyes” eye contour cream.

Quality/Price
The face cream is sold at €66 for 50ml and the eye contour cream at €43 for 15ml. Prices higher than average, but which are justified by their capacity (the two tubes are very large) and especially by their very special composition. Indeed, the process of healthy mimicry consists of observing the physicochemical and biological phenomena of the skin to understand its mechanisms and reproduce them in cosmetics to better help it plump up, smooth out or even hydrate it. .
To do this, the SMR-C5 complex is composed of 5 active ingredients: carnosine, oligosaccharides, amino acids, mineral acids and Oligo B-Glucans. All of them help to strengthen the structure of the skin and together they support the skin’s natural defense systems, improve its hydration mechanism and promote better regeneration. An innovation that is well worth its price given these effects. From the first use, our skin was visibly more beautiful and it was our loved ones who noticed it. One of them said to me, “Did you wear foundation today?” Your pores are invisible, your skin is super smooth. » For my part, I also saw that my skin was more hydrated and my eye area was much less marked.
Texture/Odor
The texture of both creams is very pleasant. Quite thick while blending directly into the skin, it doesn’t stick and is super easy to penetrate. It is reminiscent of a pharmacy cream that we would use to deeply hydrate our skin. The smell is very discreet, but also appreciable.
