these artisans sublimate cocoa in organic chocolates and cosmetics

It’s a pleasant mix of smells that you smell when you open the door of Alliance Cacao. Scents of chocolate mixed with a sweet, fresh scent. Scents which reflect the particularity of the artisanal company based in Bessines, very close to .

Sophie and Tony Suaud created their concept seven years ago, calling it Fairy for you. Today, for better visibility, they have renamed their company Alliance Cacao. But, apart from the name, nothing has changed in their original idea: to combine pleasure, well-being and health. All thanks to organic cocoa.

Handmade chocolates and cosmetics from A to Z

Sophie Suaud ran a beauty salon in Gâtine when her mother was affected by breast cancer. She then decided to look into creating natural cosmetics. Tony Suaud worked in a conventional chocolate factory where coloring had its place. Tired, he decided to close his businesses in Niort and Coulon. When Sophie tells him of her idea of going into organic farming, it’s a new lease of life for Tony.

Together, they embrace this adventure: using all the virtues of cocoa, whether in cosmetics or in the creation of chocolate. They create a massage tablet based on cocoa butter. “Cocoa is a cellular repairer, a natural anti-wrinkle, it has an extremely nourishing action and helps in the regeneration of all atopic skin”lists Sophie Suaud. It was her husband who created the cosmetics she imagined. “He’s the alchemist!” » smiles Sophie.

Cosmetics, like chocolates, are handmade, from A to Z. Tony uses organic cocoa grown in Peru, from fair trade. He uses six to seven tons per year. Almost all the other ingredients, whether for beauty products or delicacies, come from local Deux-Sévrien producers.

Sugar-free chocolates

To combine health and pleasure, Tony creates chocolates with low sugar levels. Some even have no sugar at all. Creations by the artisan imagined when his father was affected by illness and became diabetic. “He was a very greedy person, we had to find an alternative”he says.

The company, which has four employees in addition to the couple, has no shortage of projects. In 2025, the bosses intend to expand their range of products.
