The ALK+ROS1 association Lung Cancer France is organizing from May 11 to June 2, 2024, a relay between its members called TREK SOLID’AIR. The objective is to create links between members of the association, but also between care teams and to raise awareness of lung cancer. This Saturday, May 18, the walkers were in Epinal.
This Saturday, May 18 in Epinal, from Carrière Collot and rue des Soupirs, a group of patients suffering from‘lung cancer with mutations of rare genes take part in a walking tour of France thanks to
a giant relay. A total of 10 stages will take place across France. Epinal is the 4th city on the route which passes through Crozon, Rennes, Paris, Epinal, Lyon, Grenoble, Montpellier, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Brive la Gaillarde.
L’association ALK+ROS1 Cancer Lung France organizes until 2 June 2024, a relay between its members called TREK SOLID‘AIR. Already, in itself, such a walk is not trivial but when it is carried out by patients with advanced lung cancer and under treatment, it’s getting crazy!
The participants in this race are therefore patients suffering from forms rare lung cancer‘non-smoking origin. They are on the paths to achieve this challenge and show another face of the sick: that of
athletic patients, non-smokers, leading a healthy lifestyle and who from day to day next day fell into this terrible disease, lung cancer. They are helped by those around them in this challenge, as in life. There
solidarity linking these patients and their families is a good example that they hope to be able to share with as many people as possible.
This action is supported by the‘IFCT (Francophone Intergroup of Thoracic Cancerology).
