To raise awareness of their role in prevention and their profession, the health professionals of the medical center opened the door of their office this Friday, October 4, the symbolic month of breast cancer screening.
They devoted most of their day this Friday to presenting and explaining their daily work to relieve and treat patients.
We met Sonia Dautreville speech therapist for adults and children who worked on language; she loves her job even if sometimes it’s not as simple as that. In his office a multitude of adapted tools, “preventing, identifying and treating voice, speech and/or language disorders whether in children or adults requires skills in order to design and implement rehabilitation programs. Sonia Dautreville should retire soon but the succession will be ensured by the soon arrival of a young speech therapist.
Others like Annie-Flore Célérier osteopath did work on postures.
The health center is a group of doctors and practitioners serving the population: Françoise Genet et François Pecheur general practitioners, Agnes Frachon et Mathieu Peltier liberal nurses, Marie-Claire Gaudray et Filipa Peirera psychologists, Carole Gourat et Lucas Thiebaut physiotherapists, Sonia Dautreville speech therapist, Annie-Flore Célérier osteopath and Odile Prévot midwife. All the professionals allowed residents to discover their professions and participate in workshops on the themes of harassment, posturology, use of screens, speech disorders.
We could note the presence of the cancer league stand run by Sandrine. Sandrine Toulisse buys the raw materials with its own funds to make the objects that it sells for the benefit of the league.
Laurence Olivier mayor of the municipality, Alain Gaudray departmental advisor, elected officials from Fragnes La Loyère came to greet the medical team for this initiative.
Laurence Olivier recalled and thanked the previous municipal teams for the construction of the building and its extension. She addressed the professionals: “I would like to thank the entire multidisciplinary team for organizing these open days which allowed the inhabitants of our territory to participate in prevention workshops under different themes… Thank you for your dedication, your involvement and your professionalism. » She did not forget to thank Danièle and Marie-Laure and all the advisors involved in these open days. Today, the team is expanding with a new “junior” general practitioner, said the Mayor.
Alain Gaudray departmental advisor said he was very satisfied with the dynamic given by the association within the MSP itself. He recalled the political will of the department in the field of health between the public and the liberals to complete the teams in place…
Agnes Frachon President of the association was delighted with this day and she spoke about the next interventions within the framework of Pink October in different villages and schools.
