Dr Philippe Ntalaja, head of staff at the Neuropsychiatric Center of the Congregation of the Brothers of Charity, recommends that the Government integrate the fight against mental illness into the primary health system.

“We ask the Government to integrate mental health into the primary health system to prevent the occurrence of illnesses. For this, good holistic care is required.specified Dr Philippe Ntalaja.

Neuropsychiatric Center of the Congregation of the Brothers of Charity organizes, across the country, the awareness campaign on measures to prevent mental illness. This activity is carried out as a prelude to the International Day of Mental Illness, celebrated on October 10 each year.

Guest of Radio Okapi, the head doctor of this center, Dr Philippe Ntalaja recommends to the Government to integrate the fight against mental illnesses into the primary health system with a view to strengthening patient care.
