Walk, run and why not sail to raise awareness of breast cancer screening? On the occasion of the first edition of the Pink Nauticales this Saturday, October 12 in Plobsheim, experienced sailors will welcome aboard comfortable and safe sailboats all those who wish to discover sailing while supporting the fight against breast cancer.
Rotations every hour and a half
Around ten small habitable sailboats capable of carrying three to four people will take part in a nautical excursion lasting around an hour. This will involve following a route demarcated by buoys. Rotations are scheduled every hour and a half. At the same time, several other activities are offered, such as an introduction to salsa, gentle gymnastics, a hike around the lake or even a marine bracelet-making workshop. In addition, a breast cancer awareness workshop will be led by two specialist doctors. Changing rooms and a large tent will welcome participants on site. A participation of 15 euros will be requested, 7 euros of which will be donated to the Strasbourg Cancer Institute (Icans) and a neck lanyard will be offered to each participant.
