A simple and known test

The test, based on a technology similar to the PCR tests widely used during the pandemic, would detect cancers as diverse as those of the lung, breast, prostate, pancreas, or even colorectal and liver. In just a few drops of blood, it would allowavoid months of waiting for traditional exams and scansfacilitating early diagnosis, crucial in the fight against the disease. According to Wes Streeting, “these innovations could be a game changer” in the way cancer is detected and treated.

In addition to the cancers mentioned, this new test can also detect cancer of the ovaries, brain, esophagus, bladder, as well as bone and soft tissue sarcoma and gastric cancer.
