“Prevention is better than cure.” Breast cancer is most common in women, and although it is always a trauma, it is relatively well treatable today. The Luz spa, specialized in the treatment of lymphedema, contributes to this healing and effectively relieves patients. A station dedicated to women par excellence, the establishment has long participated in Operation Pink October, which aims to raise women’s awareness of the importance of screening to prevent breast cancer. A pink walk is organized from the thermal baths, next Thursday October 10. Meet on the terrace from 1:30 p.m. for a departure at 2 p.m., which will take the participants (men are also welcome) to the town hall of Luz, via Solférino and the Château de Sainte -Married.
At 4 p.m., a snack will be offered by the Luz town hall, weather permitting, at Massoure Park.
At 6 p.m., a gym session at the thermal baths with Charlotte will be offered, the opportunity to discover this activity.
Donations collected for those who wish to contribute will be donated to the League Against Cancer. Even modest, these contributions are always welcome, whether to relieve the sick or to support research in the hope of one day eradicating the disease.
