European Vaccination Week 2024 encourages proactivity!
Descriptive text here

European Vaccination Week (EVS) will take place from April 22 to 28, 2024. It aims to inform and promote vaccination for all ages, among the general public and healthcare professionals. To date, vaccination remains the best means of protection against many infectious diseases whose course can be serious.

In , European Vaccination Week is coordinated by Public health France and the ministry responsible for health and managed in the region by the regional health agencies (ARS). During this week, tools are made available to the public and health professionals (simplified vaccination calendar, numerous brochures, posters) allowing them to better understand the benefits of this procedure.

The theme chosen for this 2024 campaign will be that of “Going towards”, defined by the Ministry of Healthas an approach that goes beyond any social intervention, whether reception, diagnosis, prescription or support. This approach breaks with the idea that social intervention would systematically follow an expressed request. It makes it possible to integrate situations of non-demand from certain audiences (not just vulnerable people) into practices and engages actors to adopt a proactive practice, to enter into relationships with these audiences. »

Numerous structures, vaccination centers, maternal and child protection centers, health establishments, health insurance organizations, mutual societies, territorial and local authorities, other State services (National Education and Youth, Work, Sports, etc.), associations, and of course health professionals are involved during this vaccination week.
