Sanctioned by the disciplinary committee of the Professional Football League (LFP), for two matches behind closed doors for the Kops North and South, AS Saint-Étienne recorded its worst attendance of the season against Stade de Reims.
This first match without the Kops went well on the pitch with a 3-1 success but saw a very low attendance, 14,201 spectators, the worst of the season until then. This Sunday's meeting against the Football Club de Nantes could set a new record this season in terms of attendance at the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium.
Indeed, according to our information, just under 13,000 places are currently occupied for this poster for the 18th day of the French Ligue 1 Championship and places are selling out very slowly. At the start of the week, AS Saint-Étienne expected an attendance slightly higher than that recorded against Reims, around 15,000 spectators. Finally, the arrival of Nantes could do worse than the meeting against the Champenois in terms of attendance.
