Europe's second division has obviously never felt so strong! You only have to consult the different dates proposed on the 2025 calendar, and especially the overall prize money, 9 million euros, to be convinced.

For the fifth consecutive year, the season will start at the end of January (January 23-26) in South Africa in SDC Openfirst of four South African tournaments co-sanctioned with the very tough Sunshine Tour.

Like last year, we will then continue with India then the United Arab Emirates for two meetings with a prize of 300,000 dollars each. It will then be time to begin the long series of events in Europe (starting May 8) with the 26th edition of the Spain Challenge on a route that has yet to be determined.

Eighteen tournaments in twenty weeks and in fourteen different European countries will be offered, including the tricolor diptych composed of Blot Open (June 19-22 in Pléneuf Val André) and the Vaudreuil Challenge dear to Jean-Claude Forestier (June 26-29).

The route of the final has not yet been disclosed…

The Road to Mallorca will once again highlight two very important stages in China (between October 9 and 19) richly endowed (500,000 dollars each time) before the Great Finale scheduled from October 30 to November 2 in Mallorca and supported by the R&A. The host of this final bringing together the first 45 of the Road has yet to be determined…

At the end of this final, the first 20 will obtain playing rights on the DP World Tour 2025-26. These will be eligible for the DP World Tour winnings insurance program, guaranteeing them minimum winnings of $150,000 for the 2026 season if they participate in 15 tournaments or more.

An XXL promotion of 2024

Note that the first five of this Road will also benefit from the scholarship John Jacobssimilarly designed to provide security and a solid platform for their first season within the European Tour.

Remember that the 2024 season allowed 16 of the 21 “promoted” from 2023 to retain their playing rights in the DP World Tour 2024-25, three of them even winning: Matteo Manassero, Jesper Svensson et Frédéric Lacroix. The first two cities even did even better since they validated their ticket for the PGA Tour 2025 finishing in the top 18 of the Race.
