Monsieur Parizot this evening on TF1: what is the value of the TV movie centered on the craziest character from Camping Paradis? : Cinema and series

Monsieur Parizot will be broadcast this evening on TF1. But then, what is this unit based on one of the craziest characters from Camping Paradis worth? Here’s what we thought about it!

What is it about?

If we know Mr. Parizot as the emblematic customer of Camping Paradis, we do not know how the mascot of Tom Delorme and his team spends his time the rest of the year.

In his house in , this young retiree devotes himself to intensive cycling and satisfies a passion for criminal literature and detective films. When his cycling companion dies in a road accident, Christian Parizot is convinced that it is murder!

Supported by a young gendarme who will help him outside of any procedure, Parizot sets out to unmask the murderer in a castle which houses members of a family of the Alsatian nobility.

In the middle of this gallery of colorful portraits, everyone tries to hide their secrets. Because everyone has a mobile. Each of them could be the murderer…Will amateur detective Christian Parizot be able to unmask his friend’s murderer before he claims a new victim?

Monsieur Parizot broadcast this Tuesday, October 7 from 9:10 p.m. on TF1

Who is it with?

In this TV film, Patrick Paroux reprises his role of the inimitable Christian Parizot. As determined and mischievous as ever, the camper becomes Hercule Poirot for the duration of a TV movie. At his side, we find Clémence Lassalas that fans of Tomorrow Belongs to Us will be delighted to see again on screen.

The young woman lends her features to Alexandra Bauer, a gendarme with a big heart, who will help our hero solve his investigation. Calm, organized and dedicated to her profession, she offers an interesting counterpart to our hero.

Carole Richert (Clem) is also part of the adventure since she plays Astrid de Saint Ulrich, the widow of Parizot’s great friend. Witty and sassy, she offers us particularly funny scenes.

In the role of Jean-Dominique’s children, Diane Dassigny, currently in the casting of Plus belle la vie, encore plus belle, and Piérick Tournier were chosen. Firmine Richard slips into the skin of Josiane, the servant of the Saint Ulrich family while Olivier Sitruck plays the character of Sainclair.

At the same time, Charlie Joirkin plays Jennifer while Sören Prevost becomes Hans for the duration of a fiction.

Is it worth a look?

After several months of teasing, the TV film centered on the character of Monsieur Parizot discovered in Camping Paradis is finally broadcast this evening on TF1! Particularly suited to this autumn season, this unit is visually very successful: the colors are magnificent, the castle is grandiose and the natural settings are very appreciable.

Really behind closed doors, this investigation led by our favorite camper will have something to please those who have become attached to him over the episodes of Camping Paradis. Far from settling down in his house in Colmar, Parizot is true to himself even when he is not on vacation.

Mischievous, extremely curious and even a little invasive, he is above all very endearing and this is even more the case in this TV film in which everything has been thought of to offer him his own adventure. Very inspired by the world of Agatha Christie, we find here all the codes of a good Murder Mystery.

Certainly, the story is well brought out, but it is above all the Parizot/Bauer duo that stands out. We like to see the cycling enthusiast soften in contact with this young woman who, far from judging him, accepts his little quirks and discovers his investigative talents with tenderness.

Alongside them, we get to know a gallery of characters who match Christian’s extravagance. Carole Richert is also fantastic in her role as a grieving but eccentric widow who sees signs everywhere.

And if we can sometimes be disappointed with the conclusion of this type of investigation, that is not the case here. We must even say that we did not see the end coming. We only regret a few clichés which undoubtedly could have been avoided, but perhaps this was ultimately to be expected with a character like Parizot.

In addition, the numerous references to Tom Delormes (Laurent Ournac), the director of the campsite where he has spent all his vacations for 35 years, are delicious. We feel how attached the retiree is to him, which gives him another dimension. Patrick Paroux is still excellent in his role. He even manages to make him more vulnerable, more touching and more open in this TV movie dedicated to him.

Overall, it’s a very enjoyable film to watch. Unpretentious, it will give the whole family a great time as it is well put together. This could undoubtedly become the autumn meeting place for Camping Paradis fans.

It remains to be seen whether it will only be a unitary event or whether TF1 will transform this first attempt into a real series.
