The second most watched episode in the history of the series airs this Friday, August 30, and it’s worth it!

France 2 viewers have a date this Friday, August 30th with the unmissable Captain Marleau, played by Corinne Masiero, joined in this episode by Christophe Lambert and Sylvie Testud. Is this episode worth watching? Our opinion.

“But what is this crazy woman?” Like the character played by Christophe Lambertto (rediscover in The Ice Queenepisode rebroadcast this Friday, August 30, that’s what we think when we discover Marleau (Corinne Masiero). The captain of France 3 is indeed far from the usual TV clichés: she is not 30 years old, is neither made up nor coiffed, is dressed like the ace of spades, doesn’t care about love and is unpleasant with those around her. So why do we like her so much? Because she makes us laugh, of course!

Amazingly natural, Corinne Masiero sometimes even puts his stamp on it by rewriting his character’s dialogues with cinematographic references and other political or feminist sallies (“It’s the fault of the women again, they’re all witches, we should relight the pyres“, she makes him say). She also delivers very personal reflections, like when she says she hates photos (“I hope it’s not for a selfie, selfies annoy me“).

Captain Marleau : What is the episode rebroadcast this Friday, August 30, about?

The actress single-handedly redeems a sometimes bland production. The elephant in a china shop technique is the method her excessive character uses to confuse suspects. In tonight’s episode, set in the world of figure skating, the policewoman in the chapka investigates the violent death of a young athlete and shows a tender side when she protects a kid. A soft side that she usually hides willingly! When one of her men is shot and he screams that he is suffering, she responds without any tact: “It hurts less than giving birth. Squeeze your buttocks!“. And unlike most people, she treats a deaf and mute suspect roughly, which makes for another funny sequence when she imitates sign language. Not necessarily elegant, but damn funny.

Captain Marleau : Don’t miss the episode rebroadcast this Friday, August 30

Another asset of today’s episode, which had gathered 7.5 million viewers during its first broadcast: its casting! It is with undisguised joy that the viewer will find Christophe Lambert again in the shoes of a passionate coach, who does not let himself be counted and who is particularly moving. If Steevy Boulay does not sign a very good performance, the actress Sylvie Testudalternately pest and enigmatic, is impeccable. In addition to the pleasure of seeing Marleau evolve, who here shows both his gift for fighting and his inability to ski, this opus has the advantage of offering a solid enough investigation that it is impossible to guess the identity of the culprit before the outcome. Humor and suspense: what more could you ask for?
