After the cancellation of rapper SCH’s appearance, then that of the opening night on Wednesday following the violent storms that impacted Marseille, the difficulties continue for the 10th edition of the Delta festival. This time, it is the show of rapper PLK, headliner of this Thursday evening, which has just been cancelled. An announcement once again linked to the weather, since following the heavy rains, the main stage of the site set up on the Prado beaches is still impassable, and poses security problems in particular.

Faced with this situation, the event organizers had a temporary stage set up in three hours, located just in front of the existing one. Smaller but benefiting from the lights and sound of the original main stage, this new installation will allow Cactus and Mammuth, Martin Solveig, Mandragora and Helmut Fritz to perform this Thursday evening. Artists who have adapted their performances to these new conditions. On the other hand, the important scenography necessary for PLK’s show is incompatible with this new configuration, the singer will not perform this Thursday evening.

Initially announced at 4 p.m., the start of the festivities this Thursday has been postponed to 6 p.m. The artists who were scheduled in this slot on the various stages of the Delta will be rescheduled later in the evening. Of which the rest of the musicians will be present, in order to finally launch a 2024 edition that spectators and organizers will remember for a long time.
