The circular hiking suggestions

  • Loop “The vine and the architect”
11.5 km, starting from the Bourgailh park car park, avenue de Beutre,
The loop will lead the hiker to an architectural gem: the Frugès city designed by Le Corbusier and a world-famous wine château: the Pape Clément castle. The route also passes through various parks, the Bourgailh forest, a successful conversion of a landfill, the Cap de Bos basin, where magnificent fossils have been discovered, the Castors city, born from a self-construction movement and the urban parks of Cazalet and Jozereau.
  • Boucle de Blanquefort.
    9 km from Blanquefort.

This loop takes the hiker to the curiosities of the town of Blanquefort. The Majolan park, a haven of calm and greenery, contains false rockeries worthy of a fairy tale landscape, the fortress evokes the fortified castles of the Middle Ages and the castle of Saint Ahon is a wine estate rich in history… The parks and pedestrian paths used ensure a peaceful journey even at the gates of Bordeaux.
