Billie confides her doubts to Stanislas

At the Institute, Billie and Léonard quickly confront Laetitia about the violence they believe she is a victim of at the hands of Hippolyte Du Chesnay. Billie explains that she saw his bruise on his lower back. Laetitia claims she fell alone. But Billie points out that this is exactly the kind of apology David was saying back when he was getting hit by the butler. When Laetitia cuts the conversation short by saying that everything is going very well, Billie only becomes more suspicious.

A little later, Stanislas finds Laetitia in the park while she is studying, to wish her good luck for the day’s test. He advises her to rely on her unique personality to shine and gives her a pair of gloves with a golden bird embroidered in the lining to symbolize her flight. Stanislas tells his partner that she should not doubt her place in the profession and that she has every chance. Laetitia is deeply touched. They kiss.

Everyone then meets at Double A for the creativity test: the candidates have three hours to set a table in harmony with the menu concocted by one of the members of the jury. Hippolyte and Stanislas encourage Laetitia. She embarks on a very personal presentation, with a colorful tablecloth, and a golden bird motif that she paints herself on the plates. Faced with questions from the jury, the young woman explains her desire to desecrate the ceremony of a gourmet restaurant to focus on the pleasure of sharing that the menu inspires in her.

After which, Franck Vallière turns to Hippolyte so that they can interview another candidate. But Laetitia notices that her coach is absent. To make him react, she purposely drops a glass on the floor. Unfortunately, things only get worse since Hippolyte is missing during the jury’s deliberations. Stanislas offers to go get it, but Laetitia insists on doing it herself.

The young woman finds her coach in the school greenhouse, in the middle of a crisis. In fact, he searches all the drawers looking for his keys. Laetitia then reminds him of today’s date, as well as the circumstances. Back in the present moment, Hippolyte confides how difficult his illness makes his daily life. Laetitia suggests that he get information about being taken care of and finding ways to alleviate the symptoms of Alzheimer’s. Billie, who followed Laetitia, arrives just as Hippolyte thanks her for remaining silent.

Once everyone returns to Double A, the jury announces the results of the test: Billie obtains the score of 2.5/5, Thibault that of 3/5, as for Laetitia, she is in the lead with 5/ 5. Stanislas will immediately congratulate her. Laetitia admits to him that she succeeded thanks to him and his valuable advice. The butler will then reassure Billie about her score. But the girl seems concerned and asks to speak to him in private.

Outside, Billie confides her doubts to Stanislas regarding the acts of violence to which Laetitia is a victim at the hands of Hippolyte. The young man immediately confronts his father, who completely denies his accusations. But Stanislas does not stop there and the two men come to blows despite Billie’s attempts to separate them. Stanislas then punches his father in the face, who falls to the ground…

Emi is deeply disappointed

At the swamp roommate, Enzo discovers that Emi has been cooking all night using her father’s recipes, excited at the idea of ​​having a module dedicated to her. When Enzo tells her that Delobel has decided to cancel it, the young woman throws all her dishes in the trash in rage.

At the Institute, Rose and Enzo take the Master’s students to the Atelier which has been transformed into a training restaurant. In fact, each young chef will be able to test their concept there for a month by organizing a rotation. Everyone is amazed, especially by the central island which allows you to cook in front of customers. Quentin then points out that this type of structure is used a lot in Japan. This gives an idea to Enzo, who takes the co-director of the Master aside.

Enzo suggests to Rose that they devote the opening lunch of the Atelier, scheduled for the next day, to the cuisine of chef Saneka. But his colleague does not want to alienate Delobel from the start of the school year.

Later, Rose approaches Emi in the park. She admits to being upset by the cancellation of her father’s cooking module. Rose then speaks to him about her own experience of mourning following the death of Auguste. She sympathizes with Emi who recognizes that working on her father’s kitchen allows her to somehow recreate a bond with him.

Thelma notices the rapprochement of Solal and Zoé

At the studio, Zoé cooks a tarte Tatin, but it is a failure. Solal then gives him several tips to make up for it. While passing through, Thelma invites them to an event where she plans to go that same evening in Montpellier. But they decline because they have already planned a tarte Tatin tasting session.

Later, Thelma takes on an OZ challenge with Malik and Gary, which involves swallowing 10 spoons of disgusting soup. Thelma takes the opportunity to talk to Gary about the rapprochement between Solal and Zoé. But Gary is convinced that he would already know if his best friend had a crush on someone.

In the evening, Solal and Zoé meet again at the boarding school. For fun, they paint each other’s portraits. While Solal tries to retrieve Zoé’s notebook, Gary enters the room and surprises them on top of each other laughing. Embarrassed, he prefers to leave them both.
