16 years after their last joint appearance on screen, Brad Pitt and George Clooney finally reunite for Wolfs, an action comedy available now on Apple TV+.

An expected reunion

It’s been sixteen years now since actors Brad Pitt and George Clooney last met on a film set. If their most notable collaboration turns out to be the Ocean’s trilogy of heist films released between 2001 and 2007, the two actors last appeared together for Burn After Reading, the dark comedy from the Coen brothers released in 2008.

Sixteen years later, the two friends reunite for Wolfs, an action spy comedy that tells the story of two veteran hitmen, two lone wolves forced to collaborate after being stalked during a mission.

Available on Apple TV+

Directed by Jon Watts to whom we owe the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man trilogy, Wolfs has just been released on Apple TV+ and seems to be a light film, an entertainment which focuses above all on the charisma of its two main performers . The result is convincing for the moment, without really standing out: on AlloCiné, the film currently obtains a spectator score of 2.9/5. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film received a press score of 70% compared to an audience score of 56%.

A rather good performance without being excellent, but which at least allows you to know where to place your expectations. In any case, even if Apple has decided to limit the release of its film (directly offered for streaming in , Wolfs is broadcast for one week only in theaters in the United States), the firm has already launched the work on a sequel, still carried by the Watts/Clooney/Pitt trio. Excellent news for all the spectators who are looking forward to this reunion. —
