The series “Cult”, the first season of which has not yet been released on Prime Video, will finally be entitled to a second round of episodes, the French branch of the platform announced this Wednesday September 25. The first season, devoted to behind the scenes of the creation of the show “Loft Story”, will arrive on October 18 on the platform. She will also return to the emergence from anonymity of her winner Loana. In the cast, Anaïde Rozam (LOL: who laughs, comes out!) in the role of Alexia Laroche-Joubert, famous producer of the show, Sami Outalbali (“Sex Education”), César Domboy (“Outlander”) and Marie Colomb (“Laëtitia”).

The writing and production were entrusted to Yaël Langmann, creator of “Chair tend”, a critically acclaimed teenage series from TV Slash. The three members of 2Be3, Filip, Frank and Adel, childhood friends from in the region, will be played by Antoine Simony, Marin Judas and Namory Bakayoko. “In the boy band era, there was something very happy and very jubilant. I wanted to find that in the image and to have fun with these characters and these incarnations (…) The idea is that we especially recognize their incarnation, afterward, we are there to tell stories , to have comedy, drama, tragedy sliders”, explained Yaël Langmann at a press conference on Wednesday, reports “Télé 7 jours”.

Formed in 1996, at a time when boy bands like the Backstreet Boys were exploding internationally, 2Be3 quickly unleashed passions, alongside other groups like Alliage or G-squad. Colgate smiles and open shirts showing off their abs, they enjoyed dazzling commercial success with danceable pop hits with light lyrics like the famous “Leaving One Day”. An ephemeral phenomenon, since the trio definitively separated in 2001, but which left its mark on an entire generation of fans. Frank Delay and Filip Nikolic pursued acting careers, but the latter died in 2009, at the age of 35.
