This Sunday, during the last day of ZEvent, a charity event whose funds will be donated to associations fighting against poverty, the four-time Olympic champion Léon Marchand was very generous.
A new record for Léon Marchand. This time, it was outside the pool that the Toulouse swimmer broke the records. A few weeks after winning five medals at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, including four gold, the 22-year-old fined a certain Antoine Griezmann this Sunday by making a very nice donation during an online charity event.

On the occasion of ZEvent, a charity event organized on the Twitch video streaming platform by many French streamers, the Toulouse native took (virtually) first place in the donor rankings, the sum collected (already nearly 4 million euros) of which will be donated to five associations fighting against poverty (Secours populaire, Bureaux du cœur, Solidarité Paysans, Cop1 and Chapitre 2).
After Antoine Griezmann, who had given €4,500, then the YouTuber Michou (10 million subscribers) who had outbid with an amount of €4,501, the triple Olympic champion decided to offer €4,502. “He’s the real one” exclaimed the streamer Domingo live, when the actress Laura Felpin couldn’t believe it. “The guy who beat Michou” even commented Léon Marchand according to a screenshot from an Internet user.
