While the future of Elye Wahi at OM seems uncertain, with the marked interest of Eintracht Frankfurt, the Marseille leaders are already prospecting to find a potential replacement. If the name ofEvann Guessand of OGC Nice is the most serious option, another avenue is emerging in Italy.
Thijs Dallinga, a Dutch striker in difficulty at Bologna
According to information from La Tribune OM, Thijs Dallingathe 24-year-old Dutch striker playing for Bologna, would appear on the OM shelves. Transferred last summer for 15 million euros from Toulouse FC, the former Ligue 1 goleador is struggling to establish himself in Serie A. With only 2 goals scored in 23 appearances this season, Dallinga has not found his place in Emilia-Romagna. Faced with these difficulties, OM would consider applying for a loan with Bologna for the native of Groningen, under contract until June 2028.
An interesting temporary solution for both clubs
This loan option could suitable for both parties. For OM, it would make up for a possible departure of Elye Wahi without making a long-term financial commitment. As for Bologna, a loan from Dallinga would offer him the opportunity to relaunch a player recruited at a high price but lacking playing time. A case to follow as negotiations could accelerate in the coming weeks.
