Former Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone believes Lewis Hamilton will struggle at Ferrari.
According to former F1 grand financier Bernie Ecclestone, life will not be easy in 2025 for Lewis Hamilton within his new team. The one who has been driving since the start of the 2013 season under the colors of Mercedes will join Scuderia Ferrari next season. A transfer that is the dream of many supporters of the seven-time world champion as well as most Tifosi.
However, while Ferrari seems to have the wind in its sails at the end of the 2024 season, Bernie Ecclestone believes that Lewis Hamilton will not have an easy life at Maranello.
“I don't think it will be easy for Lewis. Especially on this team. They will support Charles Leclerc. He is fast and has grown on this team. They won't replace him with anyone else”, Ecclestone said in a conversation with the Daily Mail.

According to Bernie Ecclestone, the announcement of the arrival of Lewis Hamilton did good to the Scuderia. However, he wonders if the Italian firm is still happy with this choice.
“For John Elkann, it was a question of ego. He thought he had recruited the best pilot the world had ever seen. When he signed it, there was no indication that he was wrong in his assessment. Whether he's still happy with it is another story. Only time will tell. If Lewis weakens, which I don't like to see, he will have to go and do something else”, a conclu Bernie Ecclestone.
