After two defeats against mid-table teams, the Corréziens face a serious test against the Biarrots.
The Pro D2 championship resumes from Thursday after a break of almost two weeks with a clash between leader Biarritz and Brive, and a confrontation between Agen and Dax (9:00 p.m.), neck and neck in the standings. The Brivistes (5th, 14 pts), candidates for promotion but struggling to be consistent, conceded two defeats against teams in the second half of the table. They rub shoulders with the top of the basket by receiving Biarritz (1st, 18 pts), at the end of this 6th day.
Béziers (3rd, 15 pts), in the right lead car, will travel to Nevers on Friday, a priori inferior on paper with its 15th place but which can create a surprise as during the reception of Brive (27-26).
At the bottom of the table, after ending a series of four defeats by beating Agen (30-25), Valence-Romans (14th) will try to maintain its momentum on Friday by facing its neighbor Grenoble (8th, 12 pts) .
Scheduled to open, Agen (10th, 11 pts) has the opportunity to come back on Dax (9th, 12 pts), in difficulty since its defeats against Grenoble and Soyaux-Angoulême after having spent the start of the season in control of the championship.
