Lewis Hamilton makes his Ferrari debut

Lewis Hamilton makes his debut at Ferrari at Fiorano, aiming for a title awaited since 2007 for the legendary team.

Lewis Hamilton made his debut behind the wheel of a Ferrari on Wednesday at the Fiorano track, sparking enthusiasm from fans despite difficult weather conditions. At 40, the seven-time world champion begins a new adventure with the Scuderia after leaving Mercedes last February, where he spent twelve years marked by six world titles.

Hamilton will share the garage with Charles Leclerc and will unveil Ferrari's new single-seater on February 19 in Maranello. Official testing will begin in Bahrain, before the first Grand Prix in Australia on March 16. The Scuderia hopes to win a world title, a wait that has lasted since 2007 with Kimi Räikkönen. In 2024, Hamilton won only two races, finishing 7th in the drivers' standings, far from champion Max Verstappen.
